I think he was pointing out that he's a hypocrite by calling someone else out for doing the same pose as his artwork, yet he drew a composition that's already been used by someone else, that he may or may not have intentionally referenced. I remember Marco having an interview saying that when he was younger he basically copied anatomy books, like Hogarth and that's how we learnt his drawing skills. It seems a lot of artists have collective amnesia. They are allowed to copy their favourite artists to cultivate a style to learn how to draw and use references, but how DARE anyone be inspired and do that to /their/ artwork.

They are carving a trail and then setting a fire behind them and so no one can follow them. It's really shitty to up-and-coming artists who look up to them and extremely disingenuous to their own origin.
