Mc donalds is honestly good though. Only larpers pretend to hate it because it's fast food that's incredibly popular. How can you get a mc chicken, snack wrap, chicken selects, apple pie or milkshake, and say "yeah I hate this"? Their food is charming and cheap. The people who eat the food may be shit, but mc donalds themselves always has consistent quality across first worlds. I often get mc donalds after I complete a commission just to treat myself. I even went there on my birthday because I didnt have any other plans since I don't know any freinds close to me. Their name isn't burger king buy their dollar cheese burgers are miles better than burger king, I don't even know what's with BK now. Their food is often under cooked and their good deals always vanish. They do have hershey pies, but that doesn't make them better than mc donalds, not even close. Have you ever gotten a MCD cheese burger with no pickles, hot? They're just really darn nice. Also stop saying "anime style" that's so stupid. Anime is just cartooning.

Yeah, I think it's definitely a shortcut of some sort.

The more realistic faces like pic related are harder to draw from different angles because you have to express their 3D nature; anime faces have much simpler geometries so anyone can easily draw them.

Eyes, mouth and nose are really simplified and much easier to draw too.

Anime faces feel cheap and I hate them, so thank you for giving me a chance to shit on them, OP.
