Not quite, but you are getting there. This is high end /beg/. If you want to keep doing realistic portraits, I would recommend just studying some more Loomis/Bridgman until you get there. What you've got is good, though.

It means copying a reference exactly instead of doing original work.
Generally no matter how good your copies of references are, no one on this board will care or take it as legitimate proof of skill, since it's a separate skillset than doing original work and frankly it's a much easier skill to develop. Rankings like /beg/ and /int/ refer to your original work only. You might be able to swindle some newer /beg/s with a smoothly rendered portrait, but anyone who's been drawing for a little bit will know that it's not as impressive as it looks.

Stop copying and start creating. We been already been surpassed by cameras and photocopiers. Even if you wanna do realistic stuff the idea is that you try modify the reference so that its more idealized or clearer.If you wanna do portraits , check the portrait learning plan of watts atelier.
