if you have grasped a fundamental concept, you don't need to continue reading other people's explanations of it. if you haven't grasped it, then sure, read other sources to see if something makes more sense.
but if you're worrying about things like loomis's high heel anatomy or vilppu's potato bodies or whatever else, then you're missing the forest for the trees and it's probably not about the source at that point.
