When you look at your work and other artist's work (with a similar pose) side-by-side couldn't you tell you are lacking something very important

At any rate, if you wanted to avoid heart break like this next time, what you should do is
a) sleep on your work before posting it on the internet, a day of sleep or looking at your work again after resting for a few hours will give you new insights
b) try cooming to it, if you can't there's something seriously wrong with it.

This tells the story and while it has no artistic appeal, it's not that different from a professionally drawn coom art that has no effort put into atmosphere.
