Probably not worth the price since light and form is some basic stuff and there are plenty of free stuff that touches on the topic, mileage is what will get you far with your art and rendering.

Based on the old one, it's not great. There are some tips that are decent but not worth doing the whole course and his rendering style is really dated 00s digital art. The exercises boil down to "form studies that look like they'd fit in a picture environment" like photos you've taken outside of still lifes or movie stills.
