Sometimes I think they let illegal copies fly because they are buggy as hell. Shit drove me up a wall until I subscribed. Most people you see complaining that PS sucks are using pirated crap. I've subscribed and used PS almost daily for three years now and have not had one crash or real issue to mention

you're wrong and very ill informed about the process of pirating/patching adobe products. you can have any version of the software you want, installed straight from creative cloud, then run it through a program to make it think it's a licensed software

CS6 is 8 years old even if it wasn't some glitchy pirated copy it was never made to fully utilize a PC of your spec. Pirate or subscribe to the newest version and give it a try. I'm sure its bloated with extra shit but its made to take advantage of a modern PC. Mine runs like a dream with a computer half as advanced as yours.

i cracked because of the same issues too, anon. don't feel bad. i used the legit versions for some years and STILL ran into 8/10 of the same fucking issues as before.

fortunately, Clip Studio Paint is quickly becoming a PS contender (as far as illustration and comics) so i pirated that to use for about a year. zero issues if you know where to get CSP brush files. when their holiday sale came up, i bought EX legit and cancelled my remaining contract with Adobe

>im sorry... "contract"?
yes, you heard right. if you cancel your annual sub through adobe's site, they will hit you those sweet, sweet fees. this can be circumvented if you talk to a real human, though. try their phone support, website chat support, or twitter DMs at @AdobeCare

it does. you just have to create an "adjustment layer" to use curves. same thing as curves+smart object in PS

>liquefy
can't argue that it's the only reason i keep PS installed. CSP does have mesh transformation, though. so i make do with that

if you're unsure, CSP is so SO much easier to pirate than Adobe products. try it out for a few months and see how they compare for you.

No, not even private trackers can be trusted, just get a cheap spare computer to test all the stuff you download from the net if you're going to start using pirated software. Old software from legit releases it's safe.

>test all the stuff on a spare computer
Not really worth doing unless you can do actual debugging and reverse engineering (but at that point why rely on other people's cracks?).
Most malware are sneaky and almost undetectable by eye, you could have a keylogger and cryptominer running right now and not know it. Most malwares are not obvious like in the case of ransomwares.
Antiviruses are not useful either, well-written malwares can easily fly under the radar while actual clean cracks that have suspicious components gets flagged.
Common sense can filter out 95% of bad apples but it takes one outlier to fuck you up.
I'd recommend https://hybrid-analysis.com if you're still up for the risk. Unlike antiviruses that analyzes file signatures, this one analyzes their actual behaviour.
