Yo, it's me. My scanner died and won't turn on for me anymore, I have to get a new one in order to continue. I'll let you guys know when that happens and I'm back to scanning again. I'm sorry /ic/ I've been hit with some kind of fucking gypsy curse. Scanning this book has been hell from the start with the scanner needing to be restarted every 2 pages, and even a new power cord and USB cord didn't do anything to fix my problems.

Yeah, I typically leave it up to OCR software these days, when forced. Its nice that youre taking time to do it the traditional way, though. Computer translators get a lot of things wrong.

Unfortunately, I do not. Sorry anon. Its an older book, so I was sure it would have been scanned, but none of the usual archives seems to have it online.
For what its worth, its a fairly analytical guide to what goes on in a designers mind when they are making a piece of clothing, and how they feed their inspirations into the final product. It also includes assignments and homeworkfor you to do on your own.
This is geared toward people who want to design irl clothes, so it talks about fabric selection and whatnot, too.
If you do buy it, I think its worth it. I got it for 24$.

Anyone got something on general guidelines or methods for character design? I can't remember what exactly it looked like, but it was definitely implied to be "backup" to a situation with a burning vehicle in the street. I think there were police in front of it, or another vehicle.

On the left side of the painting, the vehicle was on fire, but the colors were mostly a grey and brown wash of concrete textures, with more gestured brushwork

There's certainly a ton of information on how to raw the body, which is good, but, any book to raw furry heads? Furry is far more complicated than most people think. At least regarding to ehad composition. Some famous artists like NataliedeCorsair use what I call the "mask" approach, that is to draw the majority of the human skull and then only elongate the maxillar, the mandible and adapt the zygomatic arch. There's a general volume problem regarding the skull¿s spatial distribuation, because animals have a much, much smaller proportion of space versus human in the cranium; besides, the angle, the size, even the very muscles that connect and support the head structures greatly differ from human to canines/felines etc. Sadly, it is like you say, there's no book that explores this with a proper level of technicality. Ah... if you could share such book with the rest of us it would be such a great act of empathy and solidarity towards learning artists such as me.

That's not an artbook. Only 45/143 pages in that book has any art and the rest is the strategy guide stuff with maps, items drops and equipment stats. For the art part, they crammed in all the backgrounds, enemies, and finished character art. There is a shrunken character sheet for your spirit partners detailing clothes and stuff, but its small as shit, less than a third of an A4 paper size.
