Think of it this way...you didn't have CGP and all those fantastic resources back in mid 2000s. If you're 25+ you're technically starting over at age 1. You have another 25 years of your life to get good of which only 5 is required if you really put in the work. Hell you can take 10 years to get good.

Even so, if your grades suck you should probably spend more time studying and less time playing video games ‘minimally’ (regardless of what it’s relative to). Feel free to ignore my advice, but you will most definitely regret not trying later. Not projecting, I’ve just heard many regretful laments from good friends, especially from those that failed to graduate. You don’t realize how difficult the job market is sans degree until you’re in it (unless you know a trade but, even then, you want an associates).

If you just want to be a welfare NEET, no need to worry.
