What is /ALT/?
If you're looking for a place to post your cartooning then you've found the right general. This is /ic/s 1st and only merged hub where both Eastern and Western stylization can coexist peacefully, hence the double title. However, by community demand and long history, this is favorably an Anime general.

The right arm looks off. And the head shape is weird.
Her neck looks connected to her shoulder. Her shoulders are tilted, but her her neck is straight and long.
Her expression is dopey, and she has a five head.
I think you have really nice lines, and shading. Your anatomy throws it off though.

I like her design but there's definitely issues with the body. Not trying to make excuses but I think it looks odd because I started off just drawing a face on a whim and haphazardly shoved everything else around it. Bad move :'D

Some more progress on this one, starting to contemplate the background, but have to finish shading the male character, and his clothing, then do some basic pen line work...still wondering whether I should lightly crosshatch this picture.

Mastodon-based sites seem to be the best bet. Pawoo pretty big and is mostly Japanese but you can pretty much post whatever you want in terms of subject matter. If you don't like that, there are other instances out there you can join. You can follow/interact with people regardless of which server they use (a lot of the politics-oriented servers cut themselves off from everyone else, but they don't really matter for art).
