Hey so I've been trying to get a hang of drawing heads using the whole sphere/thirds method and I think it's the cutout on the sounds where i'm having trouble with.

Specifically knowing how wide/tall to make them when drawing heads from other angles so I was thinking of a physical prop I could use to look at. I noticed striped billiards balls are sort of similar, but they look like they cut in way too much. Are they anywhere close?
