>also you have to draw a lot
there ya go, summed up that video in one sentence.
No need to thank me, use the time you would've wasted on thanking me to draw instead.

>Visualize and then draw what you visualize
>if you can't visualize something, then learn and study until you can visualize it
>do this daily
Secrets of the Gi.

It took him 12 years until he could visualize and draw a human figure. Chop chop, time is wasting, time to visualize and draw.

>remember that the first step to reproducing what's in your head on paper is having a solid visualization.

don't get so caught up in that. People still have neural plasticity at old age. Younger people are just more willing to will throw themselves at new things.

>not proko
>the interviewer doesn't just piss him off
>there isn't some shitty dubbing
>the interviewer doesn't twist the artist's words
>the interviewer doesn't try to steal the show.
Perfection.

i can see you're a young guy. stamina and time are limited, and they decrease exponentially after your 20s

Tbh I have never gained any valuable knowledge from KJG’s interviews, art course or anything else he’s done. He’s a master at drawing but dogshit at teaching or explaining things.

The most valuable thing I take from Kimmy here is to draw a lot of different stuff to have at least an idea of the volumes I'll face if I try it from imagination. One day I just drew lots of cowboy boots. And then a month later did a cowboy and noticed that my studies really helped with the boot, which were the highlight of the piece.

He's more of an inspiration than a teacher. Hes also talked about some interesting practices like drawing in your head.

Of all of the things it's too late to do in life when you're older art isn't one of them. Not that there aren't some unique obstacles but you can still git gud.

He talks about that in another video, said he couldn't draw at all for the first year so he drew in his head and would always study the weapons, armour, vehicles, interiors of planes etc.
