I can only see out of one eye and I'm left handed. I can't draw. Where do I start?

Drawing from life should be easy as fuck if you don't have another eye fucking your perspective.

>Where do I start?
Put a pencil in your left hand and a blank sheet of paper in front of you. Then, open the sticky of this very board. Good luck, anon.

why does being left handed matter?!

Digital would suck for one. Traditional is about the same though except for a few things here and there.

How so? Wouldn't two eyes be more accurate?

My hand writing is very bad and most things are designed for right hand use.

Why is it that some people can just grow up and automatically be good at drawing while others are shite?

Why?

The kind of thinking. In societies like China and Japan where thinking is similar, they can achieve consistent results. In the West where thinking is more free form, that can deviate and so people’s specialities spread out. Basically if you didn’t have the right idea of drawing from the beginning, you handicapped yourself.

Why do people keep making excuses for themselves?

Read the sticky and draw or don’t draw and give up, faggot.

I’m left handed and do digital. It’s not a problem at all. I use my right hand for keyboard shortcuts.

The biggest benefits from having two eyes are broader view (duh) and 3D vision - with one eye you see perspective like on a 2D medium, ie. a drawing, which is less accurate than what our brain creates from two images, one from eye each
None of these are detrimental, worst case scenario you'll mess up how much can a person see

Having to constantly squint one eye shut to do this bullshit made me feel like my eye was going to pop. I imagine you don't have to deal with that bullshit if you have only one good eye.

I'm going to draw I just want to know about my limitations.

The way you hold your pencil won’t be conventional and there’s no way to tell if that grip or a lack of experience is what causes problems.
Everything else is normal since I use the keyboard instead of the tablet buttons.

There's literally nothing bad about being a left handed artist. Digital or otherwise. Stop complaining.

You're part of the lefty talent club. That should offset at least some of your one-eye blindedness.

>> No.4154892

if colourblind people can paint in perfect colour i'm sure you can draw without depth perception too

I've never realized but I'm blind in my right eye and I'm left handed.
