does this look like a "correct" face? im getting back into painting, but im poop at humans, looking for tips and critiques, also if you have any ideas about light source would love the help, know he still has a while to go, but its good to have feed back

Looks good considering you're a begginer, and would be better if you (I'm really sorry) read the sticky and go to the begginers section, it can explain you better about drawing than anyone here.

The biggest crit I've got is (as simply as it can be explained) that there's almost no shadows nor lights, I don't want to give you a lecture and I don't want to give you too much information to digest, but here's a face, look at the dark spots and look at the bright spots. Not every painting needs to have shadows (NOT EVERY) but if you're going for a soft style like the one you just posted, you can't simplify some things and give detail to others, if you want to keep it simple, practice using hard brushes.
