so yeah, here is my question; I need to set it on 4K, but there is no such option. What should I do? I am using a laptop with Win 8.1. Also what kind of changes should I expect when it comes to performance?

Create file resolution.conf add this to it on the first line:

4096x2160

Move the file to C:/graphics (create if it doesn't exist)

Then reboot, screen should be fine now
