ruan jia cant draw for shit, he just uses photoshop effects to make his art look cool to the average normie
now this is a good artist

good anatomy (look at those boobies)
actually a full body shot (he doesn't hide the fact that he doesnt understand how the human body works, unlike ruan jia)
good colors (even though it is stylized colors are realistic and really make the piece POP)
Actually has soul and an idea behind the piece.

I don't understand why /ic/ worships ruan jia when there are far better artists out there.

anyway, to be on topic, I didn’t really get the meaning of polished turd until I saw pic related. The anatomy is all kinds of wrong, but when you first look at it, you think it’s okay because of the nice rendering and colouring.
