I got like 40 or 50 tumblr (lol) followers in about a week just by simply trying to post art that I thought would circulate well on tumblr. It might be easy to initially cater to a specific audience on a specific platform, then "transplant" your new followers to your other social media accounts. This was years ago and I deleted the entire thing so I can't show you the actual art, but just imagine generic tumblr shit and try to emulate that.

Just do raffles man they're easy mode. I managed to get 600 followers in 5 days with one. Make sure to include samples of your art in your post or make an attractive banner with those samples. If you're any good you'll be rolling in new followers. Some of them are just there for the free art but you'll get a lot of new ones who interact too.

Usually people name it like "500 followers raffle" or something. I didn't use any tags because no one uses that shit on twitter anyway. I had about 800 and I earned that with half a year of posting. It actually feels pretty silly that I gained almost that amount in 5 days. I've seen raffles as low as "100 follower celebration" or some other theme naming that doesn't have anything to do with follower count.
