Thats what happens when you copy instead of studying

It's impossible to create from a void. It takes a lot of hard work to build off of your inspirations to create something new.

This is the exact reason I have avoided television for a couple years.

Style takes years to develop. Take it easy and study fundamentals, if you do copies of favorite artists some bits of their style will stay with you. When painting from life I sometimes try to imitate other artists style/technique, I look at their work to analyze characteristics and try to include them. Sometimes you can tell the inspiration but study will often go in a new way, you'll explore and maybe discover something for yourself.

You're still at the level where you only know enough to emulate what you've been drawing from. Once you have the fundamentals at your command instead of just drawing from muscle memory you can apply them to your own ideas much more easily.
