There's really nothing wrong with staying up so late when you don't have anything else to do with your time, especially since it's still summer. Just be sure you try and fix your shit a week before the deadline hits

Just do your best, and if you still find trouble try harder. Your problem isn't going to go away because it makes you unhappy, you have to work to get it straight like literally anything else in life, so if you aren't a useless piece of shit you'll be used to that by now. If you have insomnia, weed or melatonin work pretty well to get you back on track and catch some Zzz's. Hope this helps

Watch your timezone, anon. I lost my streak after only two or three days because of the difference. Once yu get used to it, it becomes regular - unless you live in the US and twice a year you have to watch out for Daylight Saving Time.

Youtube constantly changes what is acceptable on their site, and Tumblr is an example of an "art gallery" site suddenly going berserk and censoring the majority of their content. Nothing is safe.

There's obviously a wall you will hit where you can't save everything, but the point is to be certain the things you like most are backed up onto your own drives. Hopefully then re-upping them to somewhere when a replacement is made. If most people do the same, then complete losses will be reduced.

in a week a move back to college where im going to be working part time and taking lots of classes..

The late 90s - early 2000s had a bunch of looney tunes tier anime. Yes and no. He's giving you tools for further study once you're done with the class. You aren't going to gesture>shape>axis>landmark>box>arbitrary bones for the limbs>cylinders over those bones>muscles>render every single time you draw a figure for yourself, are you? If you are you'd be incredibly slow and the point isn't to imitate how hampton draws.

His advise (as well as Rey Bustos) was to stick to the basic, grounded figure for the duration of the weeks. Otherwise you can spend an eternity trying to figure out every pose. It's doubling your complexity for no reason.

Another reason why it's setup that way at concept design academy is that it's purpose is to churn out designers. If all you're doing is designing then basic poses is all you need. If you want to go beyond that then look elsewhere, but don't take Hampton as dogma.

I wouldnt advocate that its something you must do on every figure you draw either (because its very impractical), but when trying to learn someone's process, I cant imagine a drawback that accompanies going through that process in complex situations.

no, it might seem a minor distinction but it's not a drawing course so that makes all the difference. proko's is shitty and practically all free on youtube already. eaton's focuses on learning the muscles and bones. then apply that with ecorches on the body to recognize and reinforce muscle shape/volume. then work on the drawing aspect of muscles after you have a very solid foundational knowledge of the body.

FZD has a class where they only learn calligraphy as it teaches patience and delicate control. scott robertson said that calligraphy is a very useful to learn as well before you delve into dynamic sketching
