What anatomy books/videos would you recommend for learning to draw appealing musculature?

go to the gym, pay the guy at the counter, sit at the corner and draw the guys there. make sure you're already at advanced level of gesture drawing.

Gay porn is probably the best reference

I dunno. It doesn't deviate that much than trying to draw any appealing body type. It's a mix of learning basic anatomy and then studying other styles until you start to find your own.

Like others said, Hogarth is realy good for this kind of stuff, also the usualy recommended anatomy books such as an atlas of the human anatomy and anatomy for sculptors.

Weight lifting anatomy is a good one too.

The rest is studying your favorite artists and experiementing with proportions and shapes that you like.
