I have this problem with 4chan. I used to greentext about personal episodes, post lewd art I didn't post anywhere else, and often cranked the act up a few notches to troll people. I'm a neuroscientist and there are actually many differences between the average male and female brain but we don't know what exactly specific parts of the brain do, we can only correlate them to observed behaviors.
