Female anatomy

I want to step up my anatomy knowledge on the side little by little, but I absolutely no interest in drawing male characters and never do.

Most resources out there always explain things using a male body, and only SOMETIMES if they don't forget about it, you may get some some side pictures for the female body. I'm not here to start a debate about gender equality since I got better to do, but it fucking sucks. It feels like filling my brain with shit I don't want.

Any advice? Are there books or resources out there I could use to exclusively learn anatomy from an actual and ideal female body?

Well i'm sure you're aware that men and women have the same superficial muscles. Except for the sexual organs the only difference is in fat distribution and in proportion, which again, is covered in most figure drawing/artistic anatomy books. If you just prefer to look at anatomical illustrations of women then you could try to find a digital copy of this book.

There was a nice anatomy book posted in the artbook thread a while ago that covers women pretty often.
I think part of why you see less focus on women is that women have more fat deposits in general. (a fit woman will have subtler muscles and more softness than a fit man). Muscles are easy to study. They're concrete, they make sense. Fat is soft, squishy, and hard to pin down and construct. Men are a great way to look at muscles since they're big and exaggerated. In women, they're more subtle, fat affects the appearance more. So they are looked at less.

Have you looked around? There's so much female anatomy resources especially here. I don't think you looked hard enough. If you're asking this question, then you likely don't even draw.
