yeah im working on perspective a bit more these days, as well as anatomy.
if you guys want to learn more on your own. go to this site www.nma.art, pay for a month, you'll learn alot. ive been doing some courses there in the last 3 months

as for the water, its a first time painting it, so im not too sure of how to explain it. all i did was think about water a lot in my mind and just observe, use reference. with oil painting you can thin the paints in layers, so for water that works pretty well.

all im saying is that the website is pretty good. i usually browse youtube for content but there is a lack of continuity or not enough indepth content there, so yeah gotta pay up my brothers and sisters. not all things are free
and when you think about it, id rather do online courses in the comfort of my own home than sit in some academic environment and get broke.
just recomending it if your on the fence about it.

Just regular dark HB 8 and HB graphite. I use mechanical pencil mostly and those big "Fabercastel 9000 Jumbo " pencils. I just sharpen pencils with a boxcutter and the mechanical pencil leads too.
Also I like using this gum eraser thats not solid, it allows you to do smooth lighting transitions, plus you can form it into various shapes for more control. The materials are pretty simple really, just find some decent quality stuff and dont break your head too much over it. To each his own in the end

i believe only the best are free. if you find yourself wanting more from your anatomy studies, i think you would find bridgman most comfortable. his books are free on archive.org. best of luck anon ty for the time
