I'm trying to learn drawing seriously for 7 years now and I'm still a beginner. I scratch every few months a few cubes and that's it. I was even to some shitty local art school at one point in my life. I had some parts where I was very serious and drawn like 8 hours a day but it didn't last.

No one cares how long it took to make something, what they care about is that the end result looks good, which means you are being judged alongside people who poured 40 hours into 1 drawing. The mere fact that people possess different qualities of memorization proves you wrong. A person may keep 90% of the previous day while another keeps 30%. That just one quality of talent. I'm not even that guy but I studied mathematics in university and that's the one subject where you can't deny that talent exists if you ever experienced it. Those are good memes. A good meme is easy to create and edit, because it will spread faster. You could create the most beautiful and funny meme but no one will use it because it would take hours to photoshop it instead of minutes in microsoft paint. the only reason anyone hates frogposting is because they probably use reddit and faceberg and saw those memes on there. 4chan purists don't even pay attention to what other websites do. only cross site using redditors even give a single fuck about something that doesn't matter, not even one percent.

>Those are good memes. A good meme is easy to create and edit
This statement succintly summarizes the mentality of the cancer plaguing 4chan today, equating ease and speed for quality. It's ironic that you bring up comparisons to reddit, since you're acting exactly like a redditor would by valuing popularity and reach of memes over their quality. You and those like you are the reason why there is less high-effort OC here. Go Frogpost and wojakpost (two "memes" which aren't even native to 4chan) somewhere else.

Unless you are a literal retard, there is nothing funny about the thousandth derivation of pepe or wojak.
>the only way you would even know if reddit is using a meme is if you go to reddit
When did I talk about what memes reddit use? Read my post above again, I likened your mentality to reddit, with its voting system and lack of originality, someone doesn't have to use reddit to know it's a shithole.

A good meme by its very nature doesn't need to be edited, because a meme is supposed to convey information. Wojack is a template, not a meme. Pepe is an overused forced-meme that only caught on once people stopped getting v& for using it. Both wojack and pepe have been suffocating this site of all creativity since their inception due to them being easier to edit and repost than other memes, literally like what a virus or a cancer would do to a body.

If you're still at the "boxes and circles" level then you're probably an absolute beginner so it's no surprise that it's harder for you to spend more time drawing. Generally it's harder to do things that you're bad at.
Once you get to the point where you can draw decent-looking things from imagination, like say when you can draw simple faces and bodies, then you'll find it easier to draw for longer periods of time.
