Asking for commissions was the best thing that happened to me in a long time. If you're serious about drawing, then IMO you should try it as well.

Yes, it sucks, but it sucks in a constructive way. I'm still testing it out, but it really does wonders for my discipline. I made this thread to show others just that: commissions can be a great motivation to work harder on your art.

Does a veterinarian lose dignity when taking a semen sample from a horse? Does a cameraman lose dignity if he happens to work in the porn industry?

Doing furry porn commissions for an artist is what working at the patent office is for an physicist - sure, it's not prestigious, but it pays the bills and lets you practice your craft.
