I get what you’re trying to do with the piece and the abstraction of the figure and stuff, but I feel like if you made the stained-glassesque fractles on the figure or whatever more in line with the curves of their musculature and anatomy, that might work out better for you and make it more 3dish. If you were trying to make them appear more 2d, then the detailing you put into the face betrays that intent. Using bright colors to make the figure stand out from the foreground is good, but the pastels mixed in with the figure make the color scheme clash a bit, and the brightness of the background makes the work feel hard to focus on. When you started it felt like you were trying to do a clear study of a person, but as you went along you added lots of cool background stuff which was a lot less realistic which feels like you got bored with the idea of drawing a realistic person, which defeats the point of doing an anatomy study in the first place.
I think this is a good start, but it feels a bit nervous in its execution and taking more time to study more anatomy and not be afraid of the quality of any sketches you do is good.

Ive been posting on /ic/ on and off since 2011. Quite a while.

Since then I know 4 notorious members of the community that are very similar. They are in order of seniority, illastrat, chunbum (this thread), brian comforti (trad thread), and jimmy. I noticed that despite all of them getting consistently negative reception here, they continue to post here. And i am not sure if they know that they only ever discuss their work with newfriends. Everyone else gets tired of beating the same dead horse. So they play the same game with new posters, for years. With the same quality of art.

Its pretty clear they all very much enjoy negative attention. Either that or they are not aware that they come to /ic/ to make people angry. Why they need that in their life, is up to anyones guess, but i am 100 percent sure no happy person needs to seek that out. I am guessing they hold deep resentment for something.
