This is actually not a great drawing. Just because something was done in the year 1600 doesn't make it better. Meaningless bumps everywhere, zero shadow-welding, zero appeal, everything painstakingly rendered, that terrible severed-head at the bottom, artist couldn't draw clothes very well so all the foreground characters are naked for no reason... If this was done by some anon today, you'd shit on it.

You should use erasers only extremely rarely, they give you bad habits much like how being able to ctrl-z at any time breeds bad habits
