I think it's an interesting subject.What makes art great? Why are the old masters considered to be better than our contemporaries? Is beauty the common factor, or is it the combination of hard work and dedication to achieve perfection of their craft make it great? Plenty of modern artist work just as hard, but how often is greatness achieved?
