I find it very, VERY odd that one of the biggest Creative activities (drawing) isn't represented anywhere in the 4channel part.
Wouldn't it be more interesting for every artist browsing 4chan to have, like GIF, a Worksafe & a Adult GIF section?
I come here for actual art tips & useful feedback, not for the degenerate shadman or furry trash!
I come here to see how to market my stuff better, not to see how far I could be an artwhore to get easy money!
If things were separated we'd get to talk about Artstation artists, normal games/movies art direction, SFW stuff and old masters in peace while the others could discuss in peace the best art places to avoid getting nuked by moderation.

What do you think?

Well, that is up to us, really : while I agree that there's not much activity compared to v or other more active boards, the separation might slow it down or speed it up (because some anons are turned away from going here because of the fetish art)...

Moreso, why wouldn't these drawthreads all be linked to that board? This way the artists working on the requests could get critiques on their WIP before release.

The solution is containment threads, which already happens. If you can’t influence the site yourself or your threads don’t take off, then the artists you want to talk to arnt here in the first place, and good luck changing that with a ‘build it and they will come’ mentality. Hmmmm this is where the discussion gets really interesting too : actual nude statues,for instance. Aren't announcers really against statues like Manneken pis, David or other ultra famous statues shown in museums or in the streets AKA public places? I personally don't think so.

A SFW /ic/ would still have the same discussions just with cropped porn images and technically-not-porn pinups (like a lot of the other blue boards have >>>/a/185374495). Nude references and drawings would also cause trouble even if the old master's works are acceptable on other boards having it in larger quantities like we would have on /ic/ would make it feel NSFW (and thus wouldn't attract that many more people). Not to mention, it would make it easier for people to slip in porn/lewd nudes if artistic nudity was allowed. That would be difficult for moderators to handle.

I guess if a blue /ic/ had IDs it could potentially be better but nudity would still be a problem so we should just have red /ic/ get IDs (which would be easier than trying to get a 3rd drawing board with good moderation created).
