HOW DO I GET A JOB RELATED TO DRAWING? IT'S THE ONLY THING I'M GOOD AT

>> No.3827182

Define job.
Define drawing.

>> No.3827195

>>3827182
>define job
Any kind of work for money.
>define drawing
Stuff like illustrating, painting, making 2d art in general I guess.
I'd be satisfied with the lowest wagecuck salary if it was for drawing, and I'd illustrate the most degenerate furfag shit if I had to.

At least you're in a relevant state. Imagine looking for a job in shitty little Ohio

All the good drawing jobs in the entertainment industry are highly competitive and require a ton of experience and stellar communication skills, so buck up if you want to go that route. You can draw comics and try your luck publishing them to see if you can find a steady audience that likes/buys them. You can also just be a plain illustrator and freelance, taking commissions and getting gigs as you get them. There's lots of ways to draw and get paid, you just have to be creative and persistent. But also, be honest with yourself and what you make, because people like vunerability and genuine character, not desperate fakes trying to make it. Brand image is very powerful in this day and age, so literally be yourself and hope people eventually like you.

Here are a few things you might be doing wrong if you didn't get any jobs.
>You don't post your work anywhere
>You are not open for commissions
You aren't marketing yourself to consumers.
If you want to make it in this industry, you'd have to be a borderline sociopath and interact with potential customers more than actually draw.
>Your work is not good enough
Many people think their drawings are good even when it's utter garbage.

Getting paid to draw some lines isn't an issue nowadays.
Offer a fair price for the quality of work you can provide.
Also, you'd make the most money if you do porn drawings since 99% of artfags are also filthy degenerates who throw money at hot garbage.
