Well the piece they posted shouldn't have taken more then 2-3hours from concept to finish. There really isn't that much going on in it (single character, low detail, no background light shading) so 50 bucks for 2 hours work isn't bad. And if they can do 4-5 of those a day, that's 250$ a day, which I would say is pretty good.

It's a bit hard to tell from the quality of this image, but I think the person who said 220 doesn't know much about traditional painting.
From what I can see you lack edge control, and your textures are too soft and dont represent exactly what you want them too. The composition is a nice idea but I think the bottom half needs a bit of work.
I do like the light and values, and the softness of the clouds, but I think your biggest thing is texture in the rest of the painting, maybe it would help you get more texture if your laid the paint on thicker, making it just a little 3D.
If you're doing this in acrylics you can buy all sort of acrylic mediums to mix into your paints to give them thickness and texture and maybe thats something that could be fun for you to experiment with, even different brushes or painting with a palette knife could maybe help you loosen up. I've never experimented with that stuff personally but I've always wanted to try it.
As for selling it I'd suggest a local amateur art show over a flea market, at least at the flea markets where I live if you were selling it on your own you just wouldn't get enough customers looking for art to be able to afford renting a table personally, and how much flea market vendors and customers would be willing to pay is pretty random because they aren't going to typically know anything about art.
If you sold it in the right setting, to someone who really likes it I think it would be worth roughly 50$, but if you get the right buyer, you never know, it could be more.
If you can get the textures better I think it could be worth twice as much. Good luck with your friend's flea market stall, sounds like that's definitely worth a try.

I mean im not gonna say I'm great at it but the style has fell into semi obscurity, especially in the age of digital art. Bob lives on but the painters who do his style of alla prima and do it decently are uncommon. He's been gone almost 30 years it is starting to fade. He's mostly just used for memes these days.
That said i have been trying to expand past his traditional usages of color, his were always too muted in my opinion, and he always shied away from truly cold environments.

the shading looks a lot more refined maybe fix the shadow around the eye though. some light shading or a graphic element in the background would up the presentation a lot too.
you shouldn't charge anything lower than 100 for a full body w/ colors. as far as speed goes, that simply comes as you get used to a style. i can bash out realistic characters in my sleep at this point but drawing good animus or chibi takes forever.

Low prices don't automatically equal more customers and you're honestly better off using that time to study art or work at a dayjob, before taking one buck commissions. Also consider paypal fees, communication time, possible alterations to the work - With your current rate you might as well work for free. Also you really don't want people to buy your art, just because it's cheap, but because you're the only one who can produce it. Every artist has a unique style. Find people who appreciate yours. If there are none, it's time to practice and/or network more. Another arugment against low prices: Decent people that look for commissions have a budget and look for quality art - cheap prices imply a cheap product; so it can actually be counter productive.

You don't need to be great at art to get commissions, but you should try to find your niche. Honestly, just talk to people, build some connections. I wouldn't have gotten any commissions if it wasn't for my friends.

btw. I think your art is good enough for commissions.
