Alright FUCK fine!
Tell me then, /ic/ what is it?
What is it that you like?
Surely theres something you find impressive. SOMETHING
Please, I just want to make you proud, /ic/
WHO do you consider a good artist? I havent seen a single post where someone said they like anything on here.
Enlighten me.

That portrait looks like a polished turd. Terrible.

I'm looking for absolute perfection. An artist that has reached a zenith of skill level. An artist whose painting truly shows ZERO flaws. An artist that is literal godtier.

Just look in the inspiration thread, or the landscape thread. Personally, I like a lot of artists, I love Marco Bucci's painting style, I like Pascal Blanche, Nurzhan Bekkaliyev, Piotr Jablonski, Vance Kovacs, and a lot of other, lesser known artists that I just stumble upon from time to time, like this one.

Technically talented but the melodrama in his work is borderline cheesy. His work is the artistic equivalent of the ultra-dark screamer music whose album covers he probably inspired. Still good though.

Bouguereau had the same divine understanding of light Rembrandt was blessed with, but Bouguereau wasn't a filthy drunken stoned Neder and actually controlled his brushstrokes in an ordered manner, chose subject matter of goodness, and cared about beauty in purity to create true masterpieces that reflect the very eyes of God.

Bouguereau is not my cup of tea, I think his subject matter is very uhhh... kinda cheesy but he's just so fucking good. It doesn't really matter when the work is so beautifully done. I don't know how can people unironically hate on him.
