I'm stuck on subject matter. I have given up on grinding after many years because I stopped improving past a certain point. Now that I'm starting to draw again I have to do it for my enjoyment, I don't care about making it anymore. But finding subject matter that I really want to draw instead of just grinding fundamentals is much harder and I'm stuck thinking about all the ideas that I didn't develop in the past years

Most of us draw anyway, but I only feel particularly inspired or motivated like once or twice a month. Building skill and forming good habits has made it more frequent than it used to be, but I still haven't figured out what leads up to it. I think it has something to do with seeing something in your mind that gets the juices flowing down to your penis and back up into your hand.

I'm trying to draw 1 full colored/shaded drawing a day. Some days i get too busy and don't have time or energy and just do a few simple doodles. but that's that.

I'm starting to feel kinda down though, even when I share it its mostly ignored. And drawing on my own feels like I'm just not trying new things because nothing new is coming to my head.

But on the flipside I control the Brittanica, Scandinavia, Rus, Byzantine, and a few other empires in the ck2 game I've been playing for weeks, where I started as a count in like 770 or whenever. Now it's 1350 and there's been like 40 generations of Slovenskys taking over the world. Won the crusade for Jerusalem and got muh cousin installed. And my wife is the heir to Germany so that's another goddamn kingdom getting absorbed. Oh and Hispania and most of Africa. All Slovensky.
