How do I get good? seriously. i draw 1 hour a day.

>> No.3767840

>>3767828

Multiply the hours you study by about 6 and you should be good. Also, buy some books from the masters.

>in retro spective lets see we could use a light sheet of paper over our subject or our sobject could be on a monitor we have to anaylise what we perseave our figure to be reealitically but how do we know for sure our wyes are seeign whats real in order to grasp our perception of reality we must study the basics of figurative and non figuritive subjects in other words we must ubnderstand the machanics behind how our subject works and how its interacts with the environments color for the most part i hope this helps a little let me know what you think Not sure if you're serious but there's no straight answer to this.
It depends on the time you put in, and how you work (like not working mindlessly and analyzing your work and other stuff) Can anyone explain of colored light sources (well, everything is colored, but to understand things better, say I'm trying to understand things with extreme examples such as say, blue, green or red saturated lights, etc) act on the subject? How they affect the different planes? (plane facing the light, halftone, in shadow, to simplify. Which one catches what, does every one of them mix with the colored light, etc)

Not sure if clear, but if you have any idea or tutorial about this...

Also how do you paint a skin that's affected by a strongly colored light? Say the skin is an "average color", and the light is some kind of blue, if the skin is facing that light, do you just pick something halfway between those 2 hues for the skin?

Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe there's some kind of software or app that simulates various lighting situations?
