I've been thinking about process a lot. More than the result of any given painting, it's the continuous process of learning from the work and synthesizing it into the next one that keeps me coming back to it. I got away from goals and fantasies about some endgame and found a subtle pleasure in the iterative nature of learning from the medium and exploring what I like in a given work.

How does anon interact with the process? I've been cropping small parts of of pictures I like as abstract comppsitions and sketching them, then playing with the elements.
