Drawing from life.
Anatomically correct skull cast from human skull sitting on a rare 200 year old book I got several years ago.

Ignoring the main message, from perspective of an Euro, American depictions like this feel childish and cartoonish. A "Big Wall", made of "gray concrete" with posters of the "Evil man" flags and military stuff etc. That's something out of Saturday morning cartoon, not a picture of real life events that hopefully you want to be taken seriously. At best it's high school homework on contrast - evil American war vs bunnies, butterflies and happy burritos on the other.

Be more subtle about that, maybe?

I think the inking on the main plane is too heavy sometimes, it feels less like it's following a form and more like it is a bit random.
I suggest you think about the process and the form under the lines more, they aren't just a filler.
The color scheme and perspective is really nice, but the distortion on the right wing is too strong.

I remember when you were drawing this, you did good on fixing the perspective on the main body of the plane itself. Good job.

Thanks anon.

Good that you finished it, I can see quite a few things that are wrong with it, mostly color choice though. The perspective looks nice already, but you should always crosscheck the size of everything. For example the benches in the bus stop are relatiely low compared to the overall size of the bus stop.
But keep going anon, it's really the mass of artworks that makes you get better.

head and body are too static, the legs should push the body up in the middle point of the walk cycle. the spacing/timing is incorrect. and although not technically wrong, but id use 8 frames instead, for a standard walk cycle. please study standard walk cycle keyframes, you might see immediate improvement. the drawings by themselves are decent tho so u did nice on that, ull be able to do a decent walk cycle if u just study it more carefully and smartly. gl!

Yeah, it's a VN background. I have to keep these backgrounds sorted in layers and groups as a requirement which takes away from a lively look I guess. Would love to simply paint them but from experience it's a hassle if something needs to be moved/changed. Maybe it looks better when I fill it with stuff and add the last tweaks.

I drew a few Bargue plates and watched the DaVinci Initiative vids on YouTube to figure out what the hell to do..how to even start.
I got a book called Lessons in classical drawing by Juliette Aristides and am going thru her exercises.
I alternated between the book and Bargue plates.
I tried drawing a plaster cast bust I got from amazon and failed miserably.
I finally just got this iPhone box, a bowl, and this foam snowman blank that I didn’t paint , oh and a styrofoam cup...all of the objects white, so I could just see the storms and shadows clearly, and used the knowledge I learned about measuring from the books and vids and determined to draw the most boring still life in the world, but do it accurately. I decided to enlarge the drawing more than the objects, a thing she says in the book not to do.
It was a mistake. The elipse is off on the bowl and cup and the box is out of perspective.

This skull and book I’m doing sight size and this time I told myself I could not do anything else until the initial block in of the shapes were accurate. And that took me a couple of days and much of the integrity of the papers surface.
I got impatient and didn’t also include ALL of the shadow shapes in the initial block in, causing a lot of revisions.

One of the things she says in her book is...The longer you keep you lines light and the longer you keep everything “open” the more accurate you drawing will be in the end. I tried that but failed with the shadow shapes.
Anyway all the stuff about notional box, cutting into the drawing, putting a line down first and THEN measuring, the envelope drawing what you see and not what you “know” , and everything else is kinda starting to make sense and is giving me at least a place to start.
But the big thing for me was to first determine that I was going to learn this shit no matter what.
Here’s the latest with the background values evened out a little and a salvage job with the values on killed paper.
