Hello everyone!

Lately I've been trying to hone and sharpen my style a bit and it seems I've been doing the sliiightest bit better. So, to celebrate, I drew out one of my characters for some concept sketches.

Read the sticky, there's quite a few books and videos there that can help you improve.

You already have the most important thing: actually doing it instead of waiting until you're good enough. Keep studying and drawing while doing so.

Check the sticky for good tutorials and art book scans. Also /beg/ is good at times. Study basics but also study what inspires you, movies, anime, cartoons, comics, w/e. You're already doing more than most people.

These are the nicest replies to a thread like this I have seen in a while. I agree with the others, but there is no shame in that, just look at the sticky and the recommendations in /beg/.

It's a good thing to get more serious when you already have design and other goals in mind so you will probably improve faster than otherwise, but don't expect it to be easy or fast still.
