JP twitter and western twitter are entirely different platforms with entirely different policies. In fact JP twitter was a different nip platform entirely before it became twitter, a lot of the artists just had their followers transferred to the new platform without having to do anything.

It's the same like when walking through an art con in japan, there are people selling nsfw doujins in the same area where others sells cute shit and whatever. While in any western con, except a few, selling or displaying nsfw stuff isn't even remotely allowed. So don't treat the two as something similar.

Those transferring to twitter now are just pure idiots. All it will do is make twitter, and social media in general, ban all nsfw themed content and enforce even stricter rules which will also affect sfw artists. Just imagine how much of a backlash twitter will get after normies start seeing nsfw el goblino garbage in their feed.

If you want to build a career and make money with nsfw, especially for a long time, pick a platform that is guaranteed safe to deal with and host such content. As for "muh exposure", that's just idiotic, those who are interested in nsfw will naturally flock to these other platforms since they know that all such content and artists can be found there.
If you're smart you'll be active "there" immediately and get a head start before everyone else establishes themselves (especially female nsfw artists that you just cannot compete with in terms of popularity after they kick off).
