Planning on thrusting myself headfirst into oils this weekend. How do oil artist transport their WIPs to their studio without smudging it or messing up their car?

Find a bottle with a real cork in it.
Open, drink contents.
The next day go painting to clear your head.
Use the cork, by cutting slices off.
Say you paint a 10x8 board, get another non-painted 10x8 board, sandwich together with a quarter of a cork slice in each corner. Wrap a bungee cord from the dollar store around your boards.
Noting important should be at the edges, any tidying up if smears occur takes a mere moment.
