I'll make it. I've barely drawn this week, but I have my reasons (new sleep schedule for upcoming new job, old job splits my free time in half) and I've no doubt that tomorrow I'll be right back in to practicing and working on my comic.

I say I'm gonna "make it" because technically I already have, given I can clearly convey whatever it is I'm thinking of, in drawing form. And have spent the past several months doing deliberate practice as warmups for working on the project. The comic will get done, I'll get back to a page every week, instead of every other, and I'll figure out whatever it is I need to. I've already gotten this far, so it's inevitable I figure this out, given my personality and results so far.

Hmmm. I don't have any formal training so I'm afraid I can't give you any concrete advice :( I try to take inspiration from other artists. Some of my favorites are Beksinski, Esao Andrews, and Takato Yamamoto. I try to convey emotions through poses though. So, if I feel melancholic, I'll draw a lady holding an umbrella. If I feel happy, maybe I'll draw a more dynamic pose. Hope this makes sense.

Most of my ideas aren't good, but among the dozens of shitty art I churn out, a handful are decent enough for me to be proud of. It really is a grid, anon. Best of luck

Several college courses in Computer Science and Liberal Arts but I didn’t complete.
>Financial status
NEET
>Relationship status
Friendless single virgin
>Do you draw daily/weekly or at all
Pretty much daily for at least a few minutes to an hour often more but I do miss a day or two every other week.
>Last time you drew anything
Finished pic related today.
>Style of your drawings
Anime but all of my stuff has ugly faces since I was trying to make something unique but failing hard.
>Bad habits you have?
Daydreaming instead of drawing, getting too excited when a picture starts coming out nice which slows down my progress towards finishing it, spending a lot of time planning and evaluating resources instead of drawing, letting other things distract me etc.

if you focus too much on style, you'll neglect your fundies- which is what style is built on. you could make really good stuff if you tackled anatomy and drapery. your girl is cute

I'm getting more into airplanes to draw gifts for my partner who's a pilot, so I guess I just need the right motivation.

Don’t be intimidated. If you can learn to draw animals at this level, I’m sure you can draw other subjects. You’re going to regret avoiding drawing other things, when you could be improving right now.

Thank you, and you're right. I'm already regretting it because I get a lot of requests to illustrate comics, but I am severely stunted to the point where I don't feel comfortable accepting job offers.

Was a wizard until 1 year ago. Lost the relationship and since then nothing. Job doesn't help finding someone else.

daily, 4-6 hours but I'm extremely retarded so I don't really evolve

2 hours ago. I wasn't suppose to take that long of a break but a really annoying headache started. Going back at it now.

None. Left and right, so bad I can't afford to chose a style.
