their story is nutty. they went to a shit college in florida together, she got signed up for the massive black SF atelier and he got kicked in the nuts to get accepted (she was the kicker), they moved across the country to SF so they could go to the atelier (they stayed in a 1 bed apartment, she had the bedroom and the 5 dudes had the living room floor), after 2 months at the atelier Cole got hired at blizzard (in los angeles area, away from SF), and their friendship just slowly diminished.

This is just the shorthand of the story though, its one of my favorite concept art campfire tales. congrats cole to 10 years at blizzard, may your senior artist job be comfy and rewarding
