/ic/ always builds up a dicotomy of either only grinding boring work 8h/day or drawing deviantart sonic OC for 10 years. That feeling really rubbed off on me as well, I wanna get rid of it but I don't know how.
Also thanks to /ic/, whenever I use reference I feel like "my drawing doesn't count", especially if it looks good, if it doesn't then it counts.

Pick up those "how to draw" videos for children. Animal Crossing, Kirby, whatever. I hadn't drawn in over two decades when I picked it up this January, and built my confidence by rewarding myself with cute, simple shit that didn't require more dexterity than a toddler's. Whenever my gestures looked ugly and I couldn't sight measure for shit, I looked back to those cute drawings and it recharged me.

Bite the bullet. Every single artist has had to deal with sucking before they got good. It's painful, sure, but that will always be part of it. It gets considerably less over time though, but only after you've gone through the humbling experience of dedicated practice and study.

Still, you should maybe chill out. Drawing is fun, even when you suck. Make some funny drawings. It will make you feel better. Don't be afraid of ugly work. You will make tons. Draw what you imagine drawing. Just as soon as it pops into your head, sketch it out. It will help you get over your problem and also improve your skill.
