The larger ones are simply too expensive. I've gotten by with a Surface Pro 4, so I think it should be 'big enough'. Art is a hobby for now but I'm committed to creating serious work.

I don't have an eraser on mine, so one of my clicks is the eraser but since I can just hit E it seems kinda pointless. the other is colour pick, which is a massive pain in my ass as I always accidentally hit that button. think I wanna get rid of eraser, swap colour pick to eraser so I don't hit it accidentally but then idk what else - grab and move perhaps?

The whole situation with Wacom drivers has become nerve wrecking. It's actually embarrasing. Everytime something changes I get Bluescreens. Every update erases my settings, and I get errors if I stop updating some times. Give it to me straight, /ic/, isdo I change to Huion/XP-Pen or alternative brands? I'm fucking tired of Wacom problems and I have only been drawing for one year

While it's pretty decent, it certainly doesn't compare to actual graphics tablets. I guarantee you they will laugh at you for doing anything remotely serious on such a small screen with underpowered hardware.

1) Does it still have good colour accuracy despite being an older model?
2) I’ve heard the anti-glare coating has some shitty grainy sparkle to it. Does it really get in the way of painting?

Got one myself and can really recommend it.

Photoshop runs smoothly, so does Indesign, and Illustrator. Premiere Pro aswell as long as you don't do extreme shit. Paid about 500 euros, used but like new. Can definitely recommend it.

Color accuracy, in what context? A lot of people here put far too much importance on it, when the screens almost all of their art will be reproduced on will have even less "accurate" color and smaller gamuts.

If you're talking color reproduction, like getting them professionally printed...that's more of an issue of correcting the display (any display, really), with a colorimeter, and the gamut of the screen will always be smaller than printed medium.

For art, Cintiqs are more than adequate in color fidelity, and if corrected, will show colors accurately.

google tells me it's 72% adobe rgb, which is about the average (if not 3% less) than current standard monitors, televisions, etc.
you -can- do better, for less money spent (for example XPPens 22's are 77~82, it's 16 pro is 92argb) but if you care more about size and other things it isn't too big of a deal - I made the decision to just get a high colour gamut monitor to check my work and compare, and basically anyone who looks at your work is gonna have the same gamut as that tablet anyways, so, yeah.
