Anyone else dislike the vast majority of cartoon/anime artists? Most of them seem to be...in a state of arrested development. Just because you draw cartoons doesn't mean that's all you have to consume. No one reads literary works, watch film or consume anything challenging. No one thinks about they're doing beyond satisfaction. Even cartoon showrunners, even them, they don't produce their shows from a place of adult hindsight. They get hung up on their MC's teen issues just as much as their fans. No one cares about art history, trends, theory.

Advanced anime artists seem to care a lotabout art history and theory.

See AS109 or Alphonso(white datura) despite the fact they are EXTREME degenerates, also Nababa and Artgerm they are real masters or painting who could do pretty much anything, but chose to do that, and they are pretty good at that. AS109 even posted a lot of studies of statue heads and live drawing he did in the past he pretty much did all the acadimic homework.

I personally despise artwhores, the kind of people who aim really low just to get paid for some less than mediocre fanart porn, or the people who begin their art path straight from drawing horrible sybol-drawn blowjobs and are focused on making porn more than they are focused on sel improvement or actually learning anything, they just want to learn shortcuts and tricks to be half as good as Shadman and that's the extent of their ambition. I am literally disgusted to see them.
