IMO drawing simple shapes over pictures of poses you like and referencing the rest of the muscles on top of that until you can start to get how it works on your own helps

Lol how would you solve complex problems like tilt, turning, twisting, bending, concleaing? You're wasting your time and that is why just mearly phoning it it tracing flat shapes isn't getting you to where you need to be.

I meant for absolute bare bare basic 'what do these shapes look like in the simplest way possible'. Fuck no you're not going to get much out of this method in the long run but if you really just need to say 'ok, I like this, how can I break this down to start to tell what's going on' I think it's ok as a starting point

for me, i learned to practice construction by imagining a pose, and then turning the figure in my mind. if you've worn yourself out on using references and want to learn how to draw from imagination this is what i recommend.

It's amazing that you managed to fuck up the centerline of the ribcage while tracing a fucking picture, and then had the audacity to name the file "easy peasy". I wonder how long you've spent doing this and how little you've learned. Jesus
