I got 100 more likes on a photo than I usually get probably because of whatever random hashtags I used. 20 new followers but half of them were just follow baiting and unfollowed me. Pretty decent for my skill level imho

Just started a social media presence over the summer. Doing alright on Twitter, but poorly on Facebook. I don't pay for ads or anything, which seems to be the only way to get people to notice your stuff on Facebook, but I just post on Twitter and people find me somehow.

I'm actually surprised with how well I'm doing on Twitter. I only have like a 100 followers, but that's just crazy to think that I have 100 followers when I have only posted like 4 or 5 times

What and how often do you guys post? I know it’s a stupid question but I feel like I can hardly get noticed. It’s most likely (obviously) my content as I do not cater to a niche or certain audience (eg: fan art, stylized stuff, etc.) Do you HAVE to do those things to get noticed, or are there tricks like using certain hashtags, or a best time of day to post?

Just started to do Instagram. Most people seem to be people who like/follow everything to boost their own page, so it doesn't feel like an accomplishment to get some likes on a drawing. I guess it's still a good way to get exposure though.
