well construction based or just directly from reference? If you just follow the italian style, you can draw anything you got pic of, by just creating strong contrast between lights and darks and have a limited understanding of forms for shading. Reilly method and so on.

Not a book but Dynamic Sketching with Peter Han. It's just about construction from basic forms like cubes, spheres and cylinders - which is also what Vilppu and Huston do for figure drawing. From these basic forms, their alterations and combinations, there is basically nothing you can't draw.

Because the "anime way" is jsut the western way with focus on eastern asian style. So stuff like, more focus on character acting, staging, dynamic perspective (the way they animate backgrounds) and just giving more control of the scene to the animator. The rest is exactly the same stuff you find on The Illusion of Life or The Animator Survival Kit. Even the exercises. Of course there's some aesthetic particularitys, like how they animate effects, shadows and fabric, but if you apply the fundamentals for those materials, basically just focus on the details westerns don't, you have the "anime way" of animating.

thanks anon i found a pdf of it and this is better than the animators survival kit imao it's aimed more at beginners and has clear visuals and is blunt and to the point about everything explaining a lot of core stuff in a single page while the survival kit takes several to just ramble making it confusing at times and making you forget stuff because your taking in to much information to remember it all in the actual heat of animating anything. i wounder why people don't recommend this book more?

If you want a good overall guide, I'd suggest David Brody's drawing course. But I personally much favour Jonathan Hardesty's course on Schoolism.com. Check if you can pirate either if you don't have the cash. The latter is totally worth it though.

True, I’m not making anyone buy all those books and scan them all at once because I know how much time that can take up & I myself don’t know how to scan. However, regarding how pathetic it is to buy so many series-related books, I won’t buy all of them if I ever get a chance to I’ll only buy 3 of them including the Yukiko Nakatani one but as mentioned before, I don’t mind waiting and nor I’m keeping an expectation from someone to scan all these books 2-3 is enough in my opinion but like I said, I’ll wait for someone to scan either any of these books. I don’t mind waiting for years since I’ve waited A LOT and don’t mind waiting any further. i don't know who that artist is and nor i've seen their works. It's pretty brand new to me. I've only asked for the precure artbooks which I know won't be going up but when they do go up or get re-uploaded on mega, I'm going to be very happy once they do. Dumbass, if you read the previous posts before yours, I clearly asked if I could use adblocker and half of the anons said yes be it any adblock app. One anon mentioned two adblock apps I didn't even hear of so I don't know if i'll still use them but like I said, i won't create an account just to download artbooks and then re-upload them plus I'm mentioning this again I'll just wait for someone who's not being a dick to upload the artbooks it doesn't have to be all of them going up at once, just 2 or 3 artbooks is enough with FULL PAGES ofcourse. Take a look at the Akira Takahashi ones, it has 46 pages uploaded on minitokyo and other places while the entire book itself has 200 something pages but is it on sadpanda or exhentai? I'm guessing not. So can I expect the same for the other precure artbooks to be up on there too? Not really, unless someone looks it up. All in all, I give up. I don't think the precure artbooks will be going up at any point on mega because of how people are acting though if someone does decide to upload them or re-upload them, then they're definitely doing god's work in my opinion.
