Because the value of these pieces is mostly on the style.

I DO think fundaments are important, but as a way to allow your style not to suck ass. and fuck anyone that says you have to master that before you can do anything else. No you dont. If anyone from Mononoke dropped by, some nigger would find a way to shit on them, telling them to "fix" their shit in some twisted, boring way. The thread gets overlooked because it's too far removed from drawing or painting. To be quite frank the thread is misplaced and belongs on the graphical design board, but at the same time isn't enough of an eyesore to attract enough negative attention.
There's no use to critique someone on anatomy if the work has nothing to do with that. I don't quite get why you had to make a rant thread for this, you could've posted this in the thread in question.
I guess someone stepped on your toes by pointing out the flaws in your work and are now flailing autistically because someone else isn't being butchered by the same knife, though the work in question honestly doesn't belong on this board.
