I hear Picasso used that as a pick up line/meeting tactic. I thought it was ridiculous but my art teacher told me he met his wife that way. I'm not talented yet in portraits not to look foolish but have any of you guys used it?

Neither was Picasso. None of his shit looked like who it was supposed to be, or like any human at all.

Sometimes, when I draw while waiting for the bus, there are some good-looking girls that I legitimately would love to draw. NOT even expecting any reward or something, just because I want to improve in that particular form of portraiting. But, my common sense always tells me to not ask eh

They always ask first, or hear from their friends. Indians and SE Asians are usually very vocal about wanting to model, but I don't know about NE Asians. I would draw someone in a large food court but not on a bus because it's way too close and personal. You can tell that people are more willing to be seen in an open area, which is why I wish America had more town squares -- I really don't want to draw in a café.
