So a month ago, I decide to quit art because I wasn't getting any enjoyment from it. But despite, I've still been thinking about art a lot. I've been looking at art work and every now and then I get the urge to draw. But at the same time I think it's pointless since I probably won't enjoy it. When I got serious about art 2 years ago my goal was to be a comic book artist, I've done a few comic strips here and there but nothing serious. I dunno.

If art still has a place in your heart, and you keep getting the urge, just do it. I haven't quit art, per se, but I have stopped drawing for months at a time several times.

What was causing you to not enjoy art?

Maybe deep down inside, I don't see the value of making a comic. So that causes me to get bored of it.

once you are no longer doing it for fun there really is no point to keep pursuing it.

I would have thought the same thing about animation if I hadn't found a community where people got together and created character profiles and faught for fun. Maybe that's what you needt to motivate you? The community also has a comic section so you could check it out.

Maybe change your medium you might find joy in something else.

It's called Hyuns Dojo. The specific section in the site I'm talking about is Dojo Duels. Though a ton of them start out with stickfigures since it originated from FluidAnims, which merged with Stickpage, who both have a similar system based on stickfigures, but it's not that hard to find really good artists who also do comics with fullbody characters to go against. People just do sticks because they're a lot easier to animate and learn the fundamentals with without being able to draw fully.
I grew up with this community learning how to animate so the idea of joining might not be as appealing to you as it was to me as a kid, but give it a try if you really want motivation. It's really fucking fun.

That said there's a discord, and be wary, the mods are genuinely shit at their job.
If I was able to find a similar community where there were organized battles I'd do it in a heart beat, so PLEASE if someone knows about something similar, even if it's not that active, tell me.

Not OP but I was a mod on FA and active on Hyuns Dojo for years. I'd probably recognize your username.

But alas here I am posting anonymously on 4chan.

You probably wouldn't honestly. I'm pretty much a nobody on that site. I've changed my name multiple times so that doesn't help. The people who remember my current name now remember me as a little shit. haha.
